About
I'm Herman — a web programming student at Niagara University, currently learning how to build things for the web while finishing my degree.
Before code, I spent years on the floor — stocking shelves at Rema 1000, pulling espresso and mixing drinks at a seaside restaurant in Hvaler, and assisting residents at a nursing home in Lørenskog. Those jobs taught me something that I don't think any CS course can: how to stay calm when the queue is ten deep, how to be useful without being asked, and how to actually listen.
Now I'm pointing that same energy at shipping clean, careful, human-feeling software. I care about details, readable code, and interfaces that don't make people feel stupid.
