Why a rink?

I grew up on the ice — Wang Sports Academy, pickup games, assistant-coaching at hockey school. When people ask what I do besides code, this is the honest answer. So: a little rink, built the same way I'd want to build anything — in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, no frameworks, no libraries.

Built from scratch

One canvas, a handful of vectors, and a goalie that gets smarter the more you score. Everything you see on this page runs in about 400 lines of vanilla JS. Open dev-tools and poke around.
